The Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion is the US military's primary heavy-lift helicopter. Designed for the transport of heavy equipment, supplies, and personnel, the CH-53E Super Stallion variant can lift 16 tons of cargo externally. It is the largest and heaviest helicopter in the US military inventory. The aircraft has served in numerous conflicts from Vietnam to modern operations.
