T-62 Soviet Medium Tank

Development of T-54/55 · Replaced by T-64 and T-72

The T-62 is a Soviet medium tank and a further development of the T-54/55 series. It was the first production tank to feature a smoothbore main gun, the 115mm U-5TS (2A20). The T-62 was later replaced by the T-64 and T-72 in Soviet service.
