The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a US naval attack aircraft in service between 1960 and 1997. It served as the US Navy's main carrier attack aircraft for much of the last half of the 20th century, capable of carrying up to 15,000 lbs of munitions. The EA-6B Prowler electronic warfare variant continued in service.
